The Royal Air Force (RAF) Rugby Team traveled to Jamaica from the 10 – 17 January 2008.    The team’s visit is aimed at promoting rugby in Jamaica and to build on its alliance with the Jamaica Defence Force.  The visit involved the team conducting coaching clinics in schools across Jamaica as part of the promotion of the sport. 

Retired Air Vice Marshall Chris Davison who is responsible for sports  in the Royal Air Force accompanied the team.   The Chairman of RAF Rugby League, Wing Commander Dean Andrew,  also came with the team.  

While in Jamaica, the team focused, not only on their commitments to the rugby but used the opportunity to visit some of Jamaica’s historic locations, one such is Port Royal, in Kingston.
