Athletics
Several individuals have done the JDF proud in this
sporting activity. Over the past decade we have had our soldiers becoming members of the
Jamaican Track Team. The JDF continues to hold the national 4 x 800 metres relay record in
a commendable time of seven minutes, twenty-six seconds set in Pennsylvania in 1989.
