Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica His Excellency Zhao Zhenyu along with his wife and son made a courtesy call on HMJS CAGWAY, Headquarters JDF Coast Guard on Friday August 22, 2008
His Excellency Zhao Zhenyu, Family and the Officers of JDF CG
Ambassador Zhenyu met with Commander Kenneth Douglas, Commanding Officer JDF Coast Guard, to explore opportunities for cooperation. Among the several things discussed were current initiatives to deal with challenges faced in the maritime domain.
The Ambassador was given a tour of the base in which he viewed one of the offshore patrol vessels, HMJS SURREY.
