Ground Breaking Ceremony
Exercise New Horizon

 

United States Ambassador, Her Excellency Sue Cobb, enthusiastically breaks ground for the new Health Centre. Sharing the moment are the Minister of Lands and Environment, Honourable Horace Dally (left) and Senator Kern Spencer of the Ministry of National Security.

Ground was broken recently for the construction of a Type Three Health Centre in Harbour View, Kingston. The Health Centre along with a 60- man barrack room will be constructed by the United States and Jamaican military. The projects are slated for completion in late June of this year.

The US Ambassador to Jamaica, Her Excellency Sue COBB broke the ground for the Health Centre’s construction. The ground breaking was part of a formal ceremony and was attended by Jamaica’s Minister of Lands and Environment, Honourable Horace Dalley who represented the Minister of Health and Senator Kern Spencer who represented the Minister of National Security.

Beneficiaries of the clinic were on hand for the ceremony and the charge given to them to take care of the facility which is being built to serve them.

  Her Excellency Sue Cobb, United States Ambassador expressed appreciation to Major Renrick Hall, JDF’s Liaison Officer for the exercise. Looking on is Senior Health Officer, Dr Herbert Elliot, who represented the Ministry of Health.
