Jamaican Pilots Heading Home
Canadian funds have helped build a new instruction facility at the Kingston International Airport in Jamaica.
The country’s national defence force will now be able to complete pilot training at a domestic location, instead of having students learn the trade in Manitoba.
Jamaican pilots have been taught various skills at a base in Portage La Prairie for over 35 years.
The Kingston training school will open its door sometime in 2007.
