Down Memory Lane

Lt W R Dapzell, an Englishman who did his national service with the Jamaica Battalion and West India Regiment over the period 1958 – 9, returned to Jamaica on a visit after leaving some 41 years ago.

Lt Dapzell shared some photographs of that period (1958-9) of life in the military, especially at Newcastle (present day JDF Training Depot) and Up Park Camp, Kingston.
